  Service has been courteous and sincere but spotty. Lenses fall out. Return trips over and over to get them refitted or replaced. Failure to notify when new glasses come in. Not up to par in most categories.

  I just landed on this web page while looking up contact information for The Vision Place, and was surprised to see the reviews posted here. I am moved to share my very different experience: I purchased frames and my first pair of progressive lenses here around 3 years ago and was totally pleased with the service and the glasses. I am still wearing the same glasses, and love them. When I bought them, the optician was very helpful in guiding me to frames that suited me, and very patient with me as I took a while deciding which I wanted. She did a great job fitting and adjusting them, and letting me know what to expect in the process of adjusting to progressive lenses. I have never had any problem with the frames or lenses, and am planning to get a back-up pair at The Vision Place.
