  Dr. Coward is a compassionate physician and highly skilled surgeon that provides top level treatment and care. After a fertility visit with a general urologist, my wife and I were given absolutely no hope of ever having biological children. After one visit with Dr. Coward we were given hope and options! Dr. Coward recommended sperm extraction surgery after determining a diagnosis of CBAVD. His surgical expertise was evident after an extremely successful surgery with no complications, no pain, and a barely visible scar. All interactions with Dr. Coward have always been pleasant and professional, yet personal. My wife and I know he goes above and beyond to provide his patients with optimal care. He has even continued to check in with us throughout our IVF journey. We will forever be thankful for Dr. Coward and his staff for making our family possible. We highly recommend Dr. Coward and UNC Fertility!
